Airport taxes

1. Definitions

Terms used in the tariff shall mean as follows:

Maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) – maximum weight of an aircraft as which the pilot may attempt to take off, as stated in the airworthiness certificate, log book or an equivalent document
P L Szczecin-Goleniów – Szczecin-Goleniów Airport, Glewice, 72-100 Goleniów, Poland, a company managing the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport
Passenger – a person travelling by air who is not a member of the crew
Transit passenger – a passenger who flew to the airport by a commercial flight and without leaving the airport continues his/her trip from the same airport by air with the same flight number
Aircraft user – an owner of the aircraft or another person listed as the user of an aircraft in the aircraft register.
Scheduled traffic – also known as a scheduled air transport as defined in Art. 2.14 of the Aviation Law of 3 July 2002 (JoL nr 130 item 1112 as amended).
Charter traffic – transport defined in Art. 2.15 of the Aviation Law of 3 July 2002 (JoL nr 130 item 1112 as amended)
Airport user – a user of an aircraft using services of the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport.
Offered seat for departing passengers – number of passenger seats offered for flights departing from the Szczecin-Goleniów Airport by aircraft user in a specific period.

2. General:

Taxes included in the tariff are collected for P L Szczecin-Goleniów by the airplane user using services of P L Szczecin-Goleniów. In case it is difficult to identify the used of an aircraft, taxes are charged to the owner of the aircraft
The use of P L Szczecin-Goleniów is equivalent to accepting all conditions set in the definitions
Fee for additional services not included in the tariff and provided on request of the aircraft user shall be agreed with P L Szczecin-Goleniów separately, before the service is provided based on a separate agreement.
Rates defined in the tariff are net amounts to which VAT will be added as defined in separate regulations
Rates are defined in the Polish Zloty (PLN)
Fees paid to P L Szczecin-Goleniów shall be made by credit card or exceptionally in cash. Bank transfers can be used solely by companies having an agreement signed with P L Szczecin-Goleniów for such payments. Failure to make payment within a term specified in the invoice shall result in calculating statutory interest.

3. Landing fee:

Landing fee, including take off, shall be collected for each landing of an aircraft at the airport.
In the case of aircraft of MTOW up to 2,000 kg and included the landing fee, regardless the type of flight, is PLN110.
In the case of aircraft of MTOW above 2,000 kg the landing fee shall be collected for each tonne of MTOW started, regardless the type of flight, amounts to PLN70.
Fees defined in 3. b, c shall be reduced by 50 % for helicopters.

4. Stay fee:

A fee for the stay of an aircraft within area designated shall be collected for each MTOW tonne started and each 24 hours of the stay started, and amounts to PLN8
The time of stay is calculated from the moment of landing until the take off of the aircraft.
In the case of a stay up to 2 hours, the fee defined in 4 shall not be collected.

5. Departing passenger fee:

Departing passenger fee of PLN35 shall be collected for each departing passenger.
Fee defined in 5 shall not apply to:
transit passengers.
Children up to 2 years of age not authorised to occupy a separate seat in the airplane.

6. Additional fees:

a. Collecting of contamination from airport surfaces: fees shall be collected for removing contamination from airport surfaces caused by users of the airport for each 5 m2 of cleaned surface started:

b. additional protection of aircraft during parking. Charges shall be levied for non-standard aircraft security services when parking at an airport:

7. Discounts:

Subject to terms and conditions defined in a separate agreement made with the user of the aircraft discount can be provided of up to 90% of fees, defined in 3.c for scheduled traffic as follows:
500 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 20%
800 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 40%
1.000 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 60%
1.300 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 90%
Subject to terms and conditions defined in a separate agreement made with the user of the aircraft discount can be provided of 20% of fees, defined in 3.c for charter flights (at least 1,500 seats offered for departing passengers at given route per year)
Subject to terms and conditions defined in a separate agreement made with the user of the aircraft discount can be provided of 70 % of fees, defined in 4.a (20 parking cases per month for aircraft of MTOW above 15 tonnes)
Subject to terms and conditions defined in a separate agreement made with the user of the aircraft discount can be provided of 90 % of fees, as defined in 5.a for scheduled traffic operations as follows:
800 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 20 %
1000 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 40 %
1.200 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 60 %
1.300 seats offered for departing passengers weekly by a carrier – 90 %

8. Payment terms:

8.1. Payments for airport fees are made at the designated cash desk of the SZCZECIN/Goleniów Airport.
8.2. The cash desk of the SZCZECIN/Goleniów Airport designated to collect fees accepts:
8.2.1. – Credit cards: VISA, MASTER CARD, MAESTRO, VISA ELECTRON.
8.2.3 – Cash payments will be accepted in exceptional situations.
8.3. The SZCZECIN/Goleniów Airport has the right to refuse to accept credit cards, banknotes and/or damaged and/or dirty ones and those for which there are reasonable doubts regarding their authenticity.
8.4. Refusal to accept questioned (or retained) credit cards, banknotes does not release the payer from the obligation to pay the relevant fees resulting from this tariff.
8.5. Service recipients who regularly use the services of SZCZECIN/Goleniów Airport may be charged on the basis of collective invoices in the periodic settlement mode, no less than once a month.
8.6. Invoices for service recipients who are foreign persons within the meaning of Polish foreign exchange law are issued in the tariff currency.
8.7. Foreign persons must make payments in Polish zloty (PLN) after meeting the requirements of Polish foreign exchange law.
8.8. Invoices for service recipients who are domestic persons within the meaning of Polish foreign exchange law are issued in Polish zloty (PLN).
8.9. Payments made in cash are subject to rounding in accordance with the arithmetic rule to the full unit of the payment currency. This rule does not apply to other forms of payment.
8.10. Payments discussed in point 8.5 should be made on time and to the bank account specified on the invoice.
8.11. Interest will be charged on unpaid due amounts at the rate of:
8.12. Equal to the three-month WIBOR rate from the first business day of each subsequent quarter increased by 8 percentage points.
8.13. Complaints about incorrectly issued invoices will be considered:
8.14. Within 30 days of the invoice issue date, if they were reported by European foreign service recipients settled on the basis of a credit invoice.
8.15. Within 60 days of the invoice issue date, if they were reported by non-European foreign service recipients settled on the basis of a credit invoice.
8.16. Within 14 days of the invoice issue date, if they were reported by domestic service recipients settled on the basis of a credit invoice.
8.17. For service recipients for whom invoices are issued by SZCZECIN/Goleniów Airport, complaints after payment will not be considered.

9. Derogations:

Airport fees are not charged to entities performing tasks related to the performance of a flight in the public interest:
In order to prevent or remove the effects of natural disasters and to save human life or health, unless the flight is performed as part of business activities – confirmed by:
a. flight status:
• HOSP (aircraft flight performed for the purpose of providing medical assistance reported by the appropriate medical services) or
• SAR (aircraft flight performing a search and rescue operation) or
• HUM (aircraft flight participating in a humanitarian operation) or
b. an appropriate note in the flight plan. In cases of border protection, ensuring state security or public order – confirmed by:
a. flight status:
• STATE (flight of a state and civil aircraft in military, police, customs or Border Guard missions) or
• GARDA (the code under which the aircraft performs tasks related to public security, public order and border protection) or an appropriate note in the flight plan.
Exclusively for the purpose of transporting, on an official mission, the reigning monarch and his immediate family, head of state, speaker of parliament or its chamber, head of government or a person holding an equivalent position – confirmed by:
a. flight status:
• HEAD (flight of a Polish aircraft assigned by the Commander of the State Protection Service) or an appropriate note in the flight plan.
The entity referred to in point 9 shall provide the manager of the public airport with a copy of the flight plan no later than within 24 hours of the landing operation, under penalty of waiving the right to exemption. A copy of the flight plan confirming the right to benefit from the exemption should be sent by e-mail to: dop@airport.com.pl, biuropodrozy@airport.com.pl.

10. Refusal to provide services:

1. Szczecin-Goleniów Airport reserves the right to refuse to provide services to airport users who do not respect the terms of this tariff, including late payment of their payments.
